Guys please help me, im kinda scared
I created yesterday a fake fb account in order to promote new products and fan pages...I have got more than 100 friends in 1 day; but facebook asked me to verify by phone so i put my own phone number and verified it...
Is it illegal if I still use this account for marketing purposes?

seems fine to me, its not like your trying to scam anyone... right?
 
Just as long as your not planning to rip people off you will be fine, when facebook don't like you posting links or products they will just close the account. There is no comeback on you personally.

Vie had about 20 accounts closed for mass link posting on my fan pages.

I heard many spammers got sued over $100,000-$1 million for spamming.
Even those famous ones wasn't able to pay the fine and went to jail.

Im using my number but proxies..and i want to promote products with this account but not spam....
 
Close your door , all your windows , don't connect to internet ever again , throw your phone away , get a new identity , leave the country .
DO NOT get in touch with any of your relatives .
Try to find a secure place to hide out .

You have to know that if they are joking around with you, it cannot be that serious. I would be more worried about sending out text spam lol!
 
yea its fine, people here have hundreds of fake FB accounts to promote products, the worse that can happen is that FB will close your accounts like they do for thousands of other people every day, its no illegal.
