How are you looking at that ? I am a very ethical person and i want to keep things cool.
From the unique content perspective there should not be a problem so i am just wondering.

Just use a good translator, translate the content, and then rewrite the content.

If you are going to tip-toe around the case of whether or not something is exactly ethical in regards to translating content, I'm not sure if you're cut out. :|

To make it ethical, you can just rephrase the work and link the original article as your source.

If you want to make money online, get a spade, go outside and bury your ethics and morals as deep down as you can.

Agreed. Taking somebody else's work without proper accreditation or permission is never ethical.

Also, unless you translate it yourself, it will come out looking like gibberish. Try out this experiment:

    1) go to google translate
    2) type down any sentence you like

e.g. Look at all the blue fish swimming everywhere! It makes me so happy to see them all! I wish I did not flush my pet fish down the toilet.

    3) Translate to different language
    4) take translated sentence and translate to another language
    5) repeat step 4 as often as you feel like
    6) see results.

Check out the results of the sentence I just typed down from English to Polish to Afriikaans to filipino to greek to english again

"View all blue fish swimming everywhere! This makes me very happy to see them all! It's a shame not waste pet fish in your toilet."

I know you won't be translating it like that but I just wanted to exaggerate my point.

Not really, it depends on what language you translate from and to. Italian tends to translate really well into English.

If you have to ask, then you should know the answer.

I am translating the content correctly, not really by using translators, so that it makes sense.

As long as your actually translating it, and not using a program, you'll be fine. But this takes time, and/or is expensive.

Keep in mind though, a lot of stuff in other countries is not as popular, so you still need to do keyword research to make sure you're not wasting your time.

A good example would be translating the American version of football into Spanish. No one cares about American football, except people in America.

No, it's not ethical though... if you rewrite it a bit, then you're in ethical territory. However, just the basic idea of you copying this and changing it a little to get by could be considered unethical. But who gives a sh!t? Go for it.

Sure i'll be fine. It is all about health stuff, so it makes a lot of sense. I am only wondering if it is ethical. I mean isn't it basically the same as writing articles you don't know the topic about ?

As long as you won't do it for profit or personal gain it will not be unethical.

I have allot of experience utilizing translators and let me tell you that they do not work that well.
Like some people on here have said that yes some languages work okay but others are a mess when it translates over.
If you are serious about this and want to do it right you need to hire someone to translate it.

    Cheers,
    Unclemike

One person could argue that it is ethical, and another person could argue that it's not ethical.

Is translating a book that was written in latin and reselling it ethical? Yes, absolutely.
Is rewriting a book and calling it yours ethical? Yes, absolutely.

Thank you, that really clears things up. I'll just translate the articles and rewrite them. I think that there is not much to do in terms of rewriting after i have translated them. Because after all, i have to use my brain to make them sound in a way that it makes sense, where all translators fail anyway.

Personally I don't think it's unethical. Plenty of sites republish stories from the AP, if you clean up the translated content I see no reason why publishing it would be unethical.
