Is it common for someone to pay $500 to create 5-10 accounts per day on different sites?

I was recently offered $500 to create 5-10 accounts daily on various online gambling sites. The person asked me to document the usernames, passwords, and URLs in a spreadsheet. They didn’t provide much context on why they needed this, and it feels a bit unusual. Has anyone encountered something like this, and does it seem legitimate? What could be the reason behind such a request? Any insights would be appreciated!

If he pays you on time, I don't see any issues, as long as you're not giving away your personal details on these gambling sites.

Of course it's not legal. I seem to have heard of this scam a long time ago, but it's been so long that I can't remember it.

Is he also asking to use your own details for kyc ? That might be the reason he is paying this much. Otherwise these tasks can be get done at much lower price.

Ask him some advance payment to be safe.

No it is not common. That is very high pay rate and there can be some ill-intentions of buyer for offering such high amount. Be careful.

It’s unusual, and given the high pay rate for a seemingly simple task, it’s worth a closer look. Often, such requests tie back to gray areas like account farming or even potential identity verification work that could involve riskier territory. If the person’s request is just about basic account creation without KYC using personal details, it might still be okay, but always proceed with caution.

An advance payment can help gauge legitimacy, as @doubledhamal suggested, and it’s wise to get clarity on what these accounts are actually intended for. High pay doesn’t always mean high risk, but in gray market areas, that correlation isn’t uncommon.

if he pays, so use it bro
if u're afraid of ur safe, use antydetect browser and proxies

I've seen similar requests floating around, and while $500 sounds tempting, it does raise some red flags. It could be for account farming, bonus abuse, or something shadier. Make sure to protect yourself legally and consider the risks of sharing account details. If it feels off, trust your gut.

Yes, but this would typically fall into a gray area and often be related to activities like marketing campaigns, lead generation, testing, or data collection, where multiple accounts are needed to carry out certain tasks or experiment with different platforms.
