I have a static website and im going to use a blog as my source for new updated content. Then going to put an rss feed on the static part of the site so it content gets updated.

But which is better to have my static part of the site linked to the blog or leave the blog with no links and not get indexed?

Basically i was thinking if i did the latter, then the static site would not be duplicating content. What are your thoughts?

I use only static HTML sites with a blog attached .It's always worked for me and I see no reason to change it. I find it allows me to on-page optimise better

I have been thinking about doing this. How do you get the rss feed on the static pages? I can't find a tool that will make them readable to the search engines.
