So basically my theme use h2 heading for formatting my pages titles...
Then I used H1 at the beginning of each page for formatting my pages sites...

Is this seen as bad on-page seo?

Huh? I thought for best on page optimization it should always be H1 at the beginning of the page then H2 afterwards for other main topics? Am I missing something here?

Where did you get that from?

On-page SEO is about properly structuring your website with relevant categories, links, etc. Whether you use H1/H2 at the top or the bottom of the page, it makes no difference whatsoever.

P.S. Also there's a video on Youtube titled "Does the ordering of heading tags matter?", where Matt Cutts confirms the above. Probably one of few exceptions when he doesn't talk bollocks.

Sound like if you want to be viewed as a non spammy site everyone needs to start putting one H2 first and then multiple H1's

I guess the order doesn't count as much as the weight of the keywords in the headings

    This is the structure:
H2 Heading (In the code of my theme)
    (no content)
H1 Heading (Written by me at the start of the article)
    Content

    So is it okay?

Yes! Google has different ranking factors and there is nothing like that whether H1 should be at the top or bottom. What you need to take care of is you must have your targeted keyword in your H1 tag. I don't know who told you that for the best on page optimisation H1 should always be at the beginning I know the sequence matters but the sequence really don't come under on page optimization.

No, it is not bad to use header tags in your website.

The heading tag is used to represent different sections of web page content. It has an impact on both the SEO and usability of your site.
