Is it a problem to use a CC of a different country than where you are on FB ads?

"Your ad account has been flagged for policy violations. Any ads you're running have been turned off. If you believe this is a mistake, pleasecontact us."

I'm 99% sure that my ads were not against their policy or guidelines as all were approved running campaigns and then all of a sudden I see this.

The only reason that I think of (cause a few people suggested) is that the problem could be because I am using a CC of a different country than where I currently am. Could this be the reason?

It does raise flags yes. Why are you using a CC from a different country?

I'm on a vacation. I'm not sure if this is the problem but if it is and they are willing to listen, it's not hard to prove at all that I am the legit owner of that CC. All they have to do is check the name on the CC and check the name on my personal profile. If someone from FB even checks the location of my account, until a few weeks ago I was in the country that CC is from.

I am ASSUMING that its this reason and nothing to do with my ads because 1) my ads were simply telling people to go to my website and sign up to win a product. There's no way for FB to know if its a real giveaway or not. Got no offers or CPA stuff on the landing page. 2) two of the campaigns (website clicks) were already approved and running since yesterday, I just boosted a page post (same niche, same website) and sometime later the account was flagged and 10 minutes after that I got a notification that my post boost ad has been approved. So if all ads were approved then that means FB got no problem with the ads, right? So that leaves the CC then as far as I can think.

The hell, sorry i meant Venezuela.
But exist exceptional case like my country, where buy USD is impossible in legal ways, here if you want buy USD or EUR, all is by the black market by bank transfer in the US.

So if I do this when basically all the fucking world know what happen in Venezuela, this raise flags? Don't have sense.

I travelled to the US and back again a while back and Facebook blocked my personal account and business accounts.... I had to prove I was I. That's how they work. It was definitely your remote transaction IMO.

I have absolutely no problem in proving my identity or ownership of the card I was using. I've submitted the policy violation form. Let's see what they say now.

You seem to be experienced in FB ads. Tell me, if the ads have been approved then that means they qualify their guidelines and policies and FB won't have a problem with them in the future (unless you edit them), right? Just trying to be absolutely sure that this happened cause of the CC and not the ads.

Created business manager on my personal Facebook profile. And then created an ad account within my business manager. And this one seems to be working (yet). No visible signs of it being disabled. It's letting me ad a payment method too, but I'm too scared to add it. Going to try to add a local bank card this time and hope that FB doesn't fuck me up again.

Can I promote same pages/websites I promoted on my personal ad account that got disabled? Or is it too dangerous to touch those pages/websites now with this ad account?

Well now you found out it wasn't the geolocation that was troubling you....so it *might* be the sites you were promoting. Why not start with some famous sites and test? Start promoting popular urls found on Reddit, etc, then later move on to your own and see.

I'm sorry, how have you determined that it wasn't the geolocation? I think the only way to find out if the location was the problem is add my Australian card again and promote famous sites as you suggested and that'll tell me if the it was location or not. I haven't added a card yet, I'm going to be adding a local bank card this time. And if things go wrong again then that would mean that its the sites/pages/ads that have the problem. But I haven't done anything blackhat on the account that got disabled, except an optin landing page with no offers/affiliates etc. so FB wouldn't know if its blackhat/greyhat.

My ads account was deactivated a week ago. I sent in the proper ID and they reactivated my account. A few days later I set up an AD, I let it run for a few days and my ads account was disabled again until I send in verification. Why would this happen again? I haven't logged in from another IP or anything. It's annoying because now I have to wait for them to activate the account again :(

Any idea why it was deactivated the first time?
Maybe second time it was disabled due to your ad? Were you doing anything that's against their guidelines such as promoting aff links etc?

I don't think it was deactivated due to the ad because it says to send in verification. No I am not promoting aff links just products on shopify.
