    Hello everyone,

This is the only section in bhw where I can share anything I want :)

So I have a small question for you regarding my website, I just finished working on the new section here.

Is it a good idea? A bad idea? - Please answer from a visitor view, not from mine.

    * I don't really care if you use it urself or not, you can probably guess that I'm not making this thread to get 5 visitors :D

I like the concept. But I think you can get a lot more responses if you got the ball rolling with your own Q&A's. It is a little lame to do that but I think it will be a good idea as long as you write up some useful but fictional content, just to show that you are knowledgeable and have been interacting with people.

I might give this a try on one of my sites. It does have potential.

It all depends on the conversion rate of the mailing list... If it has a low conversion it will not be worth your time. If the Q&A gets popular you'll probably spend a lot of time on retarded/repetitive questions because people are to lazy to read the previous posts, even if you added a good search option. Perhaps outsource the answering?

Form a visitor viewpoint I would change the setup: first provide relevant answers above the fold, then provide the "ask" option. It looks too much like a sign up form at first glance, which I would just ignore :)
