As my title say is it possible to buy expired domains to build PBN at register price (normally $10 per domain from namecheap) or it has to be bought in auction with very high price?

    Thanks

Basically nothing worth buying will be freely available post expiration these days.

Not true - there are plenty of decent expired domains that can be grabbed for reg fee if you crawl for them. In fact, it's one of the only ways to get niche relevant domains which is becoming all the more important for PBNs these days.

Unless you want to purchase dropped domain names whose whois ages have been reset. To find such domains, use xenu's link sleuth to crawl pages containing long lists of links and detect dead links which you can then analyse later to find out if they have any authority.

I'd just use a service here on BHW that helps you find these domain. You do pay a little more but time is also money so in the end it's all the same. I prefer getting 10 domains in 1 hour over finding 1 domain in 10 hours. Just imagine what you could do with that time

Thanks for your suggestion, but when you found those 10 domains, how much did you pay to get all of them? 10$ x 10 domain = 100$ or it's depend on auction price?

    Thanks

A lot of my network consists of refurbished expired domains. They work fantastic. You can either find a vendor that does large scale scrapes, or use Xenu, Screaming Frog, etc. to scrape them yourself.

I was recommended by BTB to try Darko/Accelerator_dd. He sells dropped domains for $37 each, he also includes registration and whois. If your like me then you don't have the time or software to actually find the diamonds in the rough.

I'd suggest checking out Accelerator_pp's thread here on BHW. There are also several others who sell awesome domains. The competition today is pretty crazy in this field, especially if you are just entering and have no idea how to actually find them.

    Best of luck though. :)

No auction is involved. The seller just finds them, registers them, and sells them at the price they wish to sell at. Therefore, the price depends on the seller entirely.

Thanks for all of your suggestion about provider but I want to try my own first. If I found one domain which is expired but still have good metrics, can I buy it via Namecheap, Godaddy or any registra with normal price like any others domain? for $10 .com, .net domain?

You won't find expired domains that are 100% spam-free and with natural and diverse high PR backlinks (which are essential for having any SEO value).

Getting the best expired domains, like top quality PR4+ is pretty hard without placing backorders. However, some software (like www.DesktopCatcher.com) can automatically register expired domains at registrar cost. Keep in mind, this is best when chasing the less competitive domains like PR2-PR3's. It doesn't beat a backorder, but it will beat hand reg's any day of the week!
