Hi, I was wondering if the domain iPhoneShop.com.au would be worth anything? No website just the domain? By anything I mean more than the registration fees.

If you find a potential customer, it would be much better. Try placing it in an auction, not a bad name after all.

iPhone is part of Apple's trademark list.

They can sue you if you pursue.

Seriously? Your not allowed a domain with iphone in it? Apple wants there to be a dictatorship in everyone's pocket.

You're not allowed any trademarked domain. Sure most of the time people won't run into problems (at least big enough to get the domain pulled from them), but why take chances?

If apple wants to buy it, they are more than welcome. I think, I'll put an Amazon store on it then try and flip it. Someone with an Apple business will want it I guess.

you'll have drama's selling to anyone who isn't an aussie, with a .com.au you need an ABN (australian business number) to register it.

Thanks? How do you think I purchased it? Of course a .com.au would only be of interest to an Australian business

you're an Aussie - cool. (I'd be repping you for your nationality if we still had the button)
