I've seen tons of my sites die, one after the other, like click work. They ranked well, some for months...... then google went and really mucked things up a few months back, around the "Panda" update time. The only real thing they had in common (other than a good deal of crappy forum profile links) was that they almost all only had one real page of content, minus the contact/terms/about/sitemap page. The sites that I had, which actually had a good amount of sub pages (10+) didn't seem to get perma-sandboxed like the rest. And they had just as much spam (profile links etc.) thrown at them. Now even sites that I create that are 1 pagers, even when I don't spam them, still sometimes go into the perma sandbox. I think I ranked them too fast, but I also think it is because they don't have jack for sub pages. I think google is starting to realize that websites with hardly any sub pages (aka content) are always crap. And think about it, when have you ever seen a GOOD website that was only 1 page? I sure as heck never have. Anyone else share this opinion, or experience??
