How hard would say it would be to rank a fitness website?
how hard would it be to make sales being an amazon affiliated?

Since fitness is such a MASSIVE category, ranking is going to depend on the keywords you chose (there are millions). Because there are just so many damn long tails to target, making sales with Amazon is easy. Currently building an authority site in the fitness niche. Growing very nicely with no links so far.

I have one myself however im finding quite hard to rank since most of my articles are not even in top 300 acording to serp however I do have one article that is the 3rd on googles page.
Im either not chosing the right keyword (which is strange because I tried many) or its too saturated

Fitness niche is very over saturated. Unless you can rank in top four, or at least on the first page its pretty much worthless, so forget about ranking for "morning workout" or "how to get a bikini body". Taking your website in top positions for keywords like that would cost a fortune.
Instead, try longtail keywords. They may have low search volume, but there is also alot less competition.

However I think promoting your website via social media would get you better results for less effort/money.

I have been trying to rank with LTK however it still very hard. Fitness niche id say is one of the hardest to rank in google with any keyword or ltk. Im having hard time ranking nontheless im only 4 days with the website on google, so maybe I should be alittle patient, today one of my article got 200 visitors which is a good start id say

It is very saturated but I'm sure there are many keywords you can still rank for. It would have been a good idea to research the keywords before doing anything else..

Have you tried "payday loans" ?! Fitness niche is nothing compared to that.

@OP, have you considered using PPC? There are tons of ways to kill it in this niche and scaling wouldn't be a problem.

Very hard to find those keywords, I got one article in googles 1st page at 3rd row, but its not generating a lot of clicks, while the others are not even ranking, I've tried loads already

Since you seem to be using long tail keywords, then maybe your articles are keyword stuffed and penalised. Also, have you checked if those pages are getting indexed using site:yoursite.com

I am currently building a site, not in the fitness niche, but as I was tracking my keywords I would see some of my articles get into top50 and sometimes, they would just disappear out of the top300. When I built just a few links to those pages they stabilised in the top 50.

Getting Google traffic should be easy enough if you do your keyword and look for a long-tail, unsaturated niche and focus on that as others have said.

Ranking a fitness keyword is easy when compared with payday and pharmacy keywords.

It is, but you can do it. You really need to have a good set of keywords.
