Its been postponed. due to a copyright lawsuit by a website called TIMELINE. who has a similar things they say if FAcebook does the update they will go out of business. by Essence19

You can access that feature using FB timeline app. Signup for developer account, create a dummy app and you'll be invited by FB to try this new timeline feature.
