Is custom typography making a comeback?

Of course! AI helps create generic designs; therefore, unique typography can become a way to make your brand more recognizable. However, the most important thing is to use it consistently and ensure its legibility.

yeah, custom type can make a brand feel more unique, especially when most AI designs start looking kinda same.

AI design i great but they tend to look the same in what is being added so i just use AI for inspiration and i alway believe if you are serious about gaining leads you shouldn't use AI design, to me it make me seem like i am not serious, i dont know if i am the only one that think that way
Indeed, it is likely that the customized design will get noticed in case everybody opts for the same ai design. moreover, it does not necesarily mean that one must invent something vry sophisticated since the aim is for it to become recognizable.

Yes it does, but let me say that AI is rather eliminating the power of custom typography. Haven't you noticed how every Ai generated design want to have the same look? Also the typo used in one design will always be altered in the next. So AI designs are not consistent with custom Typos. I will prefer what human designs more.

Yes, I think it can help. Since AI makes it easy to create designs, many brands may start to look alike. A simple custom font or text style can give a brand its own look and make it easier to remember. Although it does not need to be fully custom. Also using a good font in a clear and consistent way can also work well

I noticed this recently while working on a website. I tried a few popular fonts first, but the whole thing still felt like every other modern website I'd seen.
Then I started experimenting with the typography a bit more, and honestly, it changed the character of the design more than I expected. It made me realize how much identity can come just from the way the text looks.

Yeah I think custom typography can stand out more now, especially when a lot of brands are using the same AI generated styles. It doesnt need to be crazy either, even a unique font or lettering style used consistently can make a brand easier to remember.

Yeah especially now that so many ai made sites have the same clean generic look
