Is creating a new FB ads account on a VPN safe?

    so if you want to create new facebook ad account you need a new IP. people suggest proxy, but what about VPN? can fb detect that or are you safe?

    if you have private VPN and not public it is safe

    From experience I can tell you it's not safe, not even with a private VPN.

    What is in fact safe is VPS with OpenVPN configured on non-standard port. Facebook's security will (at some point in time) run a rudimentary port scan on all your VPN server's standard ports. They can detect VPN chatter from various protocols and they'll just ask for further verifications or simply deny your future campaigns.

    Also do a reverse DNS lookup on your external IP address. If it looks like vpn-129-19-11-xxx.cheap-vpn-provider.com and your profile says you're from the US, they'll just disable your PVA.

    interesting. do you know if ProXPN VPS (premium) is safe or can FB detect them?
