As long as the old content is de-indexed from google, you are safe.

If you don't believe people on what they're saying, then why ask question in the first place?

If you want to use the content again and again, do a high quality manual spin, so then you can use it as much as you like, for 100 or 500 times, depends on the quality of the spin and length

You can only do that if the content is de-indexed

    iwearhats, you asked...

Content can be scrubbed and used again and again.

Step 1 = Spin manually, (Matthew Woodward has great spinning tutorials)
Step 2 = Clean using Ginger
Step 3 = Vet through CopyScape
Step 4 = Post new content

    Hope that helps!

Well if you own the old site (the one from which you want to take the content and use elsewhere), you don't have to wait month to get de-indexed. You can just use Google Disavow Tool, or block search engines from accessing that site via robots.txt / .httaccess or something like that.
