Hi Guys
I am looking for solution to put aff links to my youtube description
and i was wondering, is cloaking or redirect aff links still effective to avoid youtube penalty about links?

thanks

If you do it right, using a clean domain and a good cloaker, there's no way to know where the link goes. So yes, safe.

But "doing it right" is the key.

Just redirecting doesn't really work, as crawlers follow these links until they're on the final page.

sure that still works, many people do it. as long as you have a clean domain that isn't flagged it should be fine.

is youtube still recognizing that link is a affliate data after we cloaked it? i am sorry, i still confuse about this

no with cloaking you can send bots to a "clean" page while real traffic gets redirected to your affiliate link.

You asking about a good cloaker brand or about cloaking in general? For a brand, see my sig please.

For cloaking in general:

Search for cloaking and read about it. You won't find much but you should be able to get an idea what it is.

Then when you understand what it is, you'll know what a good cloaker is. In short a good cloaker should avoid giving false positives or false negatives, it should redirect the correct user to the correct content most of the time with minimal errors.

Hey @bartosimpsonio so will the justcloakit.com cloaker work fine if you're trying to trick YouTube. I have a client whom is interested in this but is concerned as there is nothing on the website that mentions about YouTube. Common sense tells me since Google own YouTube that it should work but I thought it best to ask first.

You're not trying to trick anyone. If you are, then you're doing something wrong.

With proper cloaking you're delivering the right content to the right people in a very precisely targeted way.
