    Hi BHW members,

Am new to this forum but have learned a lot here. I have tried clickbank for two months but no success.

I tried with writing articles (squidoo). But no success.

Kind of frustrated. Should I use blackhat method instead ?

Clickbank shaving leads? huh thats certainly new to me.

    jtliewim:

Now, it really depends on what product you are promoting. Some advertising/promotion tactics work on a specific niche.

For a newbie, I would recommend using facebook spamming. Say you are promoting a health product, go to facebook and search for health groups and everyone there as your friend. It would take you a week or so before getting any results but it's worth the effort.

    That should get you started,

    Rein D

Ah you sure your getting taffic? Clicks? Views etc

If your only getting like 10 hits a day then you probally wont see a sale for a long time.

If you could share some more info and stats then that would help alot.l

Try rotating the link to a different products or companys (paydotcom) or CPA offer etc

But most importantly atm is how hits are you getting a day?

    Hi

    supermat007:

how many hits per day can consider good traffic ? I am getting around 10-15 per day.

Should I try CPA instead of clickbank ?

I don't think they are shaving, they are having a massive processing issue when someone buys using you link, they'll get this message : "Unable to process order at the moment", hence a huge drop in sales.

I have said this before and I will say it again...

I have yet to experience any type of lead shaving from CB. I have never experienced any problems with leads, payments, or anything whatsoever. Sure, sales in some niches have gone down a bit, but there's always tons more to sell there.

And this thread that you posted from is from the WF which is why I would ignore it. WF is full of whiners and complainers because a majority if them aren't making crap online. The negative energy from that forum is something that will just bring you down.

I agree with ThisOldHat...why is this thread's title suggesting that CB is dead just because of one persons lack of success.

Just like any Aff network, it probably has it's kinks, but it is not dead. CB still is a strong network with tons of products to promote.

Yep, just as thisoldhat said. You need to have a steady stream of around 100 hops a day (clicks on your clickbank affiliate link) and have it be actually targeted before you can make judgement on a niche, product, traffic, etc.....ESPECIALLY for a paid product.

So for now, use something like adsense or cpa. Copeac and Neverblue ads are my favourite

Also work on getting more and more visitors. Theres 100s of things you can do. Youtube, Bookmarking, Articles, SEO, Link exchange, forum posting, ebay.... list goes on.

3 weeks ago i bought a $97 product through my own link to bring the price down (40% commission) and the sale was never credited. Yes my affiliate ID appeared on the checkout page.

I don't think they intentionally shave, but servers get overloaded, data corrupt etc. Their .com has an Alexa of 500 and the .net 1,500 so they are pushing a ton of traffic.

OP Stick with it, you just need more volume to see results 10 a day isn't enough to draw any conclusions. If your traffic doesn't convert, try other sources and/or products. Before you promote a product, take a look at:

    www.cbtrends.com
