If you listen to the SEO world, churn and burn is completely over and this 30 day sandbox exists.

Personally, I'm not 100% certain anymore.

I tried to prove the 30 day sandbox existed with a case study but to be honest, I couldn't prove a damn thing. What might have affected one website didn't affect another one. Nothing seemed to stack up at all.

What's more, I'm still getting thank you emails from people who have tried my own churn and burn method with great results in the past few weeks.

Is anyone else starting to think that we've been sold a crock of shite by Google and burner sites still work fine? I have to say I've not tried a burner website for a good month or two now but I'm seriously considering a trial run to prove if it's still working.

    Any thoughts?

There is a sandbox , but only noobs call it "30 day sandbox" sometimes it's just for 1 day , sometimes it's for 2 months.
All depends upon what mighty google thinks.

Let me explain: When you do C&B then it's a hit or a miss , Why ?
A: Because sometime google gives your site a green flag in few days and some times in 2-3 weeks. But , some times google just not gives a site green flag and usually in that long wait time links build by GSA/spam tools gets in google blacklist or get deleted from site. and then your site is unable to rank after passing through sandbox.

Tip: Build links regularly if you are spamming with tools. or If your links are good enough then you will rank in days.

(some people order pbn links from a link whore network and then say it not worked. i am not going to show you my serps , but just go and check some big boy serps and there will be many new sites in top10. )

All these sites were started after the may update. They were all done with similar ranking methods. Some have taken off and some have not ranked at all. That is okay. Ranking in Google is similar to what has been done in the past, but I have noticed that it isn't as easy as it was before. All my long tails are ranking on the first page, even the sites that aren't even ranked at all.

I think parasite sites still work quite well and there isn't much of a "sandbox" period if churn and burn is your game. Indexing seems to be much slower at this point with the recent update. I think there is more of a sandbox period on the indexing of links which makes the ranking period take longer in comparison.

Thin affiliate sites seem to still be ranking good so I don't think that is an issue at all.

I think long term link building is still great.

The only thing I have seemed to notice is that the sites that are ranking have a lot of social signals and the sites that aren't ranked for their main keywords have little to no social signals.

Of course this is my opinion and that shouldn't influence anything that anyone wants to test on their own.

Heck yeah man Churn and Burn works! :)
I can tell you that buying domains with a little age on them helps.

Please refer to my thread about neg SEO attack on one of my site.

    here.
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...e-optimization-still-working.html#post7190425

That website is steadily ranking top 10-30 of most of its keywords for the past coupon of months, then I received a enormous 70k backlinks (until now) which i call neg SEO attack. The blast started on August 25th.

As we speak, the attack gave a good result (for now) reached top 5-20 on best performing key terms and some top 1 on long term keywords, great traffic rise. I could consider this as CHURN N BURN method but not performed by me.

Therefore, I conclude CHURN N BURN method still works!

    MORE INFO ABOUT THE ATTACK:

Attacker didn't use adult sites or porn anchors
Attacker have great variety of anchors used
Attacker didn't even used my main keywords as anchors
Attacker used mostly blog comments and guestbook (GSA I think)

From what I have seen, burner sites are becoming a lot harder to rank. There is no definite waiting period (or sandbox), it can range from 30 days to 12 months!

It's hard to gauge what exactly is happening because some people believe they are in the sandbox just because they can't get past page 2, when the real reason maybe to do with their site not being up to scratch! who knows.

range from 30 days to 12 months???
Are you kidding me LOL :D

How did you come up with those numbers?
Update happen in May 2014...thats 4 months ago.

From my testing I see Page 1 rankings anywhere from 25-50 days after backlinking has begun.

Before this update I could obtain page 1 rankings within a week.

Churn and burn will never die. Anyone who says differently just doesn't know how to do it. Yes, there are websites that just don't take off, its a number game but that does not mean that it is not working.

I am just saying from what I have seen so far, some people are experiencing 30 days, some are still yet to see any rankings after 4 months!! I am merely pointing out that there is no exact range!! Sites made before the update are still experiencing a similar thing. Lewis over at CloudIncome reported a 6 month period before his rankings suddenly shot to page 1.

to the guy above talking about longer indexing times, I encourage you to test express indexer, it works wonders for me and normally indexes my urls within a matter of days, if indexing is your only issue, then this should sort that out :)

I think I have to agree with that. You can't just make any conclusion based on one site. For some reason certain sites never take off while some others do.

Not begging helps. Nothing worse than being a pauper on BHW.

Read up some Information here, use the search box, and try It out. Trial and error my friend.
