I recently bought a domain and hosting package from a website that has a really slow, unresponsive and hard to work with website building tool and to move it to Wordpress requires paying with a credit card, which I don't have since I only have a PayPal account. I was browsing the forum and I found that there are a lot of services that offer to build a micro niche site for you at a certain cost, while also providing a basic SEO service to it so that you can get some traffic to start off with.

I loved the idea and I was wondering if anyone can give me an honest opinion on them or your experience. One guy told me that they are a waste of money whereas the reviews on the threads indicate otherwise. If I can make back the $50 I spent on hosting and the $35 I spend on the niche site (maybe some SEO costs too) and maybe make $100 in total I would be happy. I'm not looking to make thousands from one website as I understand that its not realistic, but a hundred or two would be awesome.

I'm not buying one because I'm too lazy to make the website myself or anything, (more due to a lack of time) but it would save a lot of time if someone can sort all that out and I will just work on it whenever I can, I believe I have a valuable and attractive domain so that might help.

Would you recommend this as a viable method? Thanks!

TL;DR : Do you think its a good idea if I buy one of those $35 micro niche website packages available on BHW and connect it to the domain that I already have?

If all it took to make money was plunking down 35 bucks on a niche site wouldn't we all be filthy rich?
Look past the marketing speak and understand that there's more work involved.

Right now I only have about $40 in my PayPal account, so that's why I am asking as opposed to just "giving it a try." But I will definitely update this thread if I do buy one with my progress and earnings.

You should not risk ~90% of your budget in one stroke. NEVER. Not exclusive to Internet marketing.

I wouldn't do it, I would rather outsource the work with several VA's than buy a whole package...

Never. If you had a way to earn xx,xxx dollars with a microniche, would you be selling it for $35? Think about it from that point of view. If they actually earn that much, then why would they go for less than what the JR VIP costs? If a rich kid comes by, all he has to do is spend $350 to get 10 of those, and he's set for life. Infinite money. The world isn't that easy a place to earn money in, I'm afraid.

While $35 is an enticing offer to build a micro niche site, I won't expect too much out of it.

I would rather advice you to read more on micro niche sites... How to get profitable keyword and build your website.

I bought a few of them just for laughs. Never made any money with them.

There is a lot more work involved, especially in 2016. Never expect to buy the site and make your money back without investing more time and money.

All a decently made MNS is, is a time saver. It sets up the basic initial site, niche relevant 'starter' content with (hopefully) good keywords, or even better if using an expired domain with good metrics and backlinks profile. It can be helpful if you have a plan for ongoing content creation and traffic generation and just wanted the site up that had the fundamentals right. If you don't have such a plan in place, it's probably not worth the expense.

Sounds like your hosting sucks and you went for the cheapest option.

Well I'm sorry for now knowing everything. Next time I have a question about life I will just go to you, all-knowing master God of all humans. I bought it because they were one of the few that offered a domain + hosting + website builder for $50 with PayPal for a year. How was I to know better if they were recommended by many people and always showed up in the top results?
