I released an Android app about a month ago, really worked hard on ASO from a product description point of view. Only have 6 downloads so far and my app doesn't even show up on the app store, even though it's a really good app that's easily better than all the other apps in its niche. Is buying downloads/reviews worth it? Will it help it rank better? And if so which sellers do you guys use?

hi
the truth is that all big apps are buying download, because there is no problem with that, the issue is in rating and reviews

why they buy downloads? so... to rank higher in store than their competitors to attract more organic traffic

ps/ reviews and rating should be done carfuly and should coming from real people,

Hi, it is good "when" publishing/launching an app.

Try to buy 1k downloads, it "can" boost your rankings for a "bit" but it is not really sustainable.

While doing that, try to target the right keyword (right keyword means high volume + low/med competitors). Then find experts on your niche/category and maybe ask them for a review.

PS. It is much easier to rank an app than a game. and apps are less crowded than game niche.

I do ASO and rank it as well. If you want you could hire me. I've been working 4 years on Upwork also have a great profile and have done 100+ job on there. If you want we can discuss. my skype torikul91

Hi, check out Waypedia will let you have real time stats which will inform you about the detail of each and every install. Details like Device ID, country, manufacturer, time of install and model would be provided. You would be able to keep track of the number of installs which you get daily.

The secret sauce: gain unique installs DAILY

you can ping me with questions: kierstin.waypedia :)

If you get downloads that stick, that's good. But it will hurt if 99% of the downloads are fake, and the retention rate is near 0.

It's not only about installs, it's about installs, ratings, reviews....

Hello! The fact that your app is of good quality is very important and I can only congratulate you on that. We have a great experience in boosting apps to top positions by keywords in Google Play Store. So from personal experience I can tell that buying installs to increase your app's rank is the most effective method. As your app is really good you are going to have a huge natural organic traffic once it in tops.

Do not run a fake installs/review campaign, it will hurt your app and also your Google Play account.
The problem with incentivized installs is that come from people that install your app only to get some coins to use on a game, so they installs a lot or apps daily and uninstall it very quickly, as soon they has coins credited, so on Google eyes, your app suck, because users install and uninstall it in a short data frame.
Fake reviews/ratings are more harmful because Google AI can detect it without any problem, delete it and then tag your app as suspicious, harming your ranking and also closing your account.
If you have make an minimal decent app, and your users can use it and get some benefit, you need to invest in installs from well know sources, not forced, like Facebook, Instagram Twitter and also Adwords. Do it in the first days of you publish your app or update it, and then you will gain traction from organic installs and you will receive a lot of installs from Google Play search results.

I like this ;) sites like facebook are the best nowadays or try to build something cross promotion but it requires many apps, blackhat or greyhat methods.

So you have 2 choices ;) facebook ads vs my BST ^^
