Blog posts and articles are same to me. But I avoid using the word"blog" or "blog post" within the site as google algo hates those words. I refer them as articles within the site.

Yes this is a problem. It seems narrower the niche its easy to get it indexed. The KGR thing is real, although i am not using KGR keywords here. But if the niche is narrow meaning less content on web so google algo is force to index somehow.
