Hey guys, I just wonder how many ppl sell 10k, 20, 50k, or even 100k backlinks on eBay. I think they just resell them or blast with their own Scrapebox list. So my question (favorable for blackhatters from germany) is, if this kind of linkbuilding and even selling this service are illegal?

Nope. Unlike 'email spam' there is no law about mass posting/commenting. It wouldn't be practical to create laws to combat that kind of a pseudo issue.

So I shouldn't have any problems with selling backlinks on ebay?

I recently read some german blogger and lawyer talking about buying facebook fans isn't legal because its a kind of competitive distortion.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine - that some people think mass blog commenting is illegal or criminalized under the same laws as unsolicited commercial email. It's not.

+1 for what others have said, hide behind proxies and stuff, cover your ass, but not from Johnny Law, just from whackjobs out there who might threaten to sue you or come after you for what you're doing. There is *nothing* illegal about it, but in any business enterprise - even totally whitehat stuff - you never know what kind of fucktard is going to go all small claims on you.
