    Hello,
I am quite new to press releases and I have some doubts about them, I ordered a press release service from BHW around a month ago,
it whas well done and the article whas great but it did not improove mi SERPS much at all, but now when I check them again there is a whole bunch of them with actual PR I dont mean root domain PR I mean mi actual press release has PR 3, 2 ect, why did these pages gain page rank but mi pages did not? I checked them and most of them are dew follow,
Could blasting these press releases with SB web 2.0 Wikis ect. improove mi SERPS or is it just a waste of time?
    Thanks

I would link more web 2.0 and wikis to it with related content about your niche. The google spiders will really make sure you rank if they go through loads of relavent stuff and then end up on your website!!

Have a look at this video about tiered link building! This will give you an idea!!

I have quite a diverse backlink structure but what I am new with is the blody press releases and they are supposed to be White Hat but they have given me basicly no Serp increase, if I would have goten 1000 plus private blog post I would have shot up in the Serps,
So you think building links on those PR will increase mi rankings? If I dont get a clear answear I will dew it anyways but I just dont want to whaste mi time

Ranking a website is not as simple as buying one type of link and watching the money roll in. SEO is extremely competitive. Only way this might work is if you're targeting a keyword with 2,000 searches a month and no real competition. Otherwise, you need to build many more high quality links.

I wouldn't necessarily blast press releases but depending on where the PR is written at, I can't imagine it would hurt. If you really are serious about ranking a press release, I would probably stay away from blasting it. Even if it ranks today, there's no telling what effect a link blast will have in 1-2 years.

Is your product or site news worthy? If so then a press release or youtube campaign will help greatly. If it is MFA site, then no don't use it.
