Is binance really trustworthy?

Buy your bitcoins, send it to a cold wallet and forget about it for 10-20 years, profit

Yeah, it's one of the main ones. Kraken is pretty trustworthy too.

I have never had any issue with Binance, and I so much like their tight security (at least from the member’s perspective).
I know fully well that my assets cannot be compromised.

Any centralized exchange is a security risk but you can just buy crypto and send it to a DEX instead of doing your main trading on Binance

At such, is binance really trustworthy in 2025 ?
Trustworthy crypto exchanges? That's an oxymoron. This market thrives on uncertainty, shady practices, and occasional rug pulls. If everything was transparent and regulated, the big gains would be gone.

i think if Binance collapses, crypto will do so too, so its kinda a comforting thing to leave it in the CEX to a certain extent, however of course the correct practice is to store in a hot/cold wallet

I'm also using binance, and I'm using it well without any problems.

Many members here recommend binance as the best exchange. But I was reading their history and found that they had also been hacked in past. Their owner had also been culprit of fraud which he admitted. At such, is binance really trustworthy in 2025 ?
Well, Binance is the best exchange for now. Don't put all your crypto on Binance for security reasons.

Binance has been through some drama, but I still trust them more than most exchanges in 2025, tbh.
