I read that somewheres on the site that you should never buy backlinks to your own domain, but to the web 2.0's instead. Is this true? If you have a unique quality web 2.0, and it's linking to a unique quality website, is there any risk that the unique quality website could get penalized by buying backlinks to the web 2.0? Or is it just the Web 2.0 that is at risk?

It's far less likely that your money site will get penalised as a result of buying links to a web 2.0. However, if you have 10 web 2.0s and all ten point to your money sit and you blast all 10 with similar links, your chances of being penalised increase significantly. You just need to be smart about it, people don't link to your website organically in a nice, neat organised fashion so if your links are nice and neat, your going to get caught.

It's safer, yes. However if you have shit practise it will impact your rankings once the 2.0 page cops a hit from Google. It'll be hard to tell what's actually caused it, you'd need to remove the backlinks one by one to find out which is the one that's causing the downgrade in your rankings and this can take 1-2 weeks or more. And in the end, it might not even be cause of the 2.0.

    Yes, SEO is fun. :)

fun = pain in the ass :)

Basically, play smart and try to think of new ways to make those links look organic. It will require time and testing, but if you get good results it is all worth it in the end.

Yes. Its like creating a buffer that dilutes the power of the links that point to the web 2.0. But eventually, it all comes down to the quality of the links that you are building. The idea is to keep it diverse and do it slow. Too much too soon and you are inviting G to come kick your ass sooner or later.

So, keep trying new things and stick to what works for you.

    Cheers

Don't focus simply on your website. Link your resource to every different facilitate strengthen individuals already link to your website.
It does not looks good if your resources are all just linking to your website. Links to some authority sites to make the things natural.

I think Best way is to do a test. Build Web 2.0 and see what results you get. that is main way to learn.
