Is awstats good to measure traffic?

    It says I had 200 UV yesterday and adsense say 10 views lol

    the different programs always report different stats... awstats is server based program and is definitely more accurate than anything else as it reads your apache logs and anything that hit your server is counted. Adsense is javascript based and can miss lot of hits, also it counts only human visits, while in awstats you are probably seeing and bots and etc..

    AwStats is not accurate 100%.

    Try to install Google Anaytics into your sebsite. It is better than the AwStats

    Never head about this program. I don't think it can be trusted much.

    Yeah, I immediately know whether I can trust something I've never heard of, either.

    Generally speaking, awstats will give you a "high" number because it counts crawlers, bots, etc. Analytics will give you a "low" number because it doesn't track people who have js turned off as one example. Best thing to do is look at both numbers over time and get a "feel" for what you've really got.
