I just wanted to double check with you guys to see if any of you have issues with Bluehost's servers today and yesterday.

My site keeps going off and on and I can't access my WP dashboard. Contacted Bluehost three times and kept getting the same story: it's my fault for having the wrong hosting plan basically. It's not, it's Bluehost's servers for sure.

Like I said, any of you guys having similar issues and if it carries on. I'm leaving them. Any suggestions?

    All the best,

    James :)

If they keep putting the blame on you and not helping figure out why it keeps going off line then its time to move.

We would be glad to help you out.

I read somewhere that if you exceed the usage of the hosting ( even if you have only installed WordPress ) all your site will go down and they won't tell you anything, the only way is to upgrade the plan

Maybe they are saying that for a reason. Maybe your website is spending more resources than what you are subscribed to.

I've got a WP niche site that gets around 1k unique visitors per day, but it can go up to 10k or so during the weekend. What package would you suggest?

It's not. It's only a few weeks old, has 22 posts and I have compression, caching and Lazy load plugins. I've also set it to clean the database daily and I remove all post revisions and unused data and images. I know it's them.

Post number and website age are not a factor when it comes to resource using. Traffic and website structure is.

You should have stats on the left side ( if using old cpanel theme ) when you login to your cpanel account. There you can see how much resources you are spending.

If truly you dont spend much resources than maybe its really a time for a change.

    Cheers.
