not sure if this goes here but if not sorry and please mods move.

just looked at my kindle account and says its block. here is the email they sent:

    Dear Publisher,

It has come to our attention that, on multiple occasions, you have uploaded material through your account of unacceptable quality. This has resulted in those titles failing our quality review, or receiving customer complaints, refunds and a poor customer experience. Please note that if you continue to upload material which is of unacceptable quality, we may terminate your account. If your account is terminated, you will not be allowed to open new self-publishing accounts.

We request that you respond to this message stating that you will improve the quality of all future submissions and will correct the issues with the outstanding titles you have for sale on the Kindle Store. Until we receive a response from you regarding these concerns, we will not be reviewing or publishing any additional titles you submit. Any titles submitted will be immediately moved into a ?draft? status.

all the ones i've uploaded are the mrr kind. what i don't understand is that they don't tell me what i need to change on them. they initally okayed them so why are they wrong now?

anyone have any take on this? apparently its happening to some other people on amazons kindle forum but they are clueless also.

    anyone? comments?

If you are just slapping a bunch of PLR articles together and calling
it an ebook, or if you are not formatting your documents properly
for the Kindle, you are likely ro get complaints/refusals.

Amazon is getting more strict due to the low quality of stuff
people have been uploading over the last few months.

Take the quality route and learn to format correctly for the
Kindle and then you should have no problems.

Also, if you are trying to game them by titling your ebooks
with the same (or similar) titles as the best sellers on Kindle,
you WILL piss them off. They are looking for people who
are attempting to do that and they are quick to close their
    accounts . . . Game time over.

I searched all over the web and obtained several courses before
finally learning to format correctly for the Kindle. There is a lot of
bad or misinformation out there regarding formatting for the
Kindle. One of the WORST things is to just send them a PDF
and hope that it will be accepted. Sometimes it will, but many
times it won't. Things go wacky often in the conversion process.

    Hey Mark,

I'm actually looking into the Kindle Publishing program as well. Of the 40 books you've uploaded, did they all perform well or were only a small portion of those books actually profitable?

They are going after people who just take plr ebooks and upload them without making any changes to them.

The best thing to do is redesign the covers, rewrite the content, and come up with a unique title.

They are actually going further than that... my rewritten plr stuff has been removed. Wasn't a great seller anyway, so I won't miss it.

Things not to do with Kindle

    1) no pdfs.

    2) no plr)

    3) no stolen front cover images

    4) no public domain

    Things to do with Kindle

    1) Make your customers experience great when they purchase your book.

the easy money days are over at Amazon.
