I am trying to make a considerable amount of money from cpa movie sites but i don't think one domain will be enough. Before i could got started on my website i did some keyword research and got myself a keyword phrase domain that received 18k searches every month. But now i think it's not good enough cos even if the keyword gets 18k searches, the domain on the first position will only get 50% of the traffic, which means only 9k visitors. If one in every 50 people fill up a cpa form, it will fetch me only $180 - $200. How do people make $5000 or even more with movie sites?

Are you making a good amount of money with cpa movie sites?

There is a thousand different ways to monetize Movie Sites. I personally have did very well with Movie Sites in the past. I always used BHCB and Zip Submits. Best traffic IMO is from Facebook. Youtube is good also but its harder to target certain countries.

What is your definition of "Good money" ?

atleast 500 - 700 dollars is what i'd consider good money. I mean if you create a nice website, do loads of seo and pull in 9 -10k targeted traffic, it should fetch you a good amount of money right?

With my sites about 50% of the total traffic to the site will click on a offer on the content lock. After that 30-35% will convert. Depending on the offer you are running that would be $1-$3.00 per conversion.

If that makes since at all...

My site got about 5k unique visitors on a episode premiere date and about 1-1500 daily. This was only during a new season. When the show is not airing new episodes traffic drops drastically.

I too have a movie site (not tv shows). I can't find out any good ways to drive traffic to it. Youtube is too saturated. There's videos for every single movie. SEO is not happening. Look at all the competition for watch movies online. I haven't tried Facebook yet. How would I use FB to drive traffic? Spam walls related to movies?

He has exceptionally high conversions and it sounds like he's referring to a TV site which mine typically convert higher than movie sites especially for a new episode like he's talking about.

For movie sites I have so much shit going on mine that I try to drain every last penny out of it from adbrite full page ads to popunders to movie download affiliates to content lockers. You name it I'm probably using it. I'm sure it drives visitors nuts too but hey I gotta make money.

To answer your question, yes you can make good money but you need a ton of traffic or a good source of targeted traffic. My movie sites are on autopilot with great SEO traffic.

30-35% is normal using BHCB or any content locker with your own CPA offers.

Yes to clarify I am doing TV shows and not movies.

I also use BHCB with link rotation and lock all pages. Picked up a good bit of $$ when I did this. Less traffic to get the same amount of conversions.

35% meaning 35 out of 100 people fill up the form. Are you sure? Loads of internet marketers only get around 2-5% conversion ratio.

If you are using a content lock similar to BHCB. You will NEVER see a conversion rate that low if you are sending good targeted traffic. If you do, something is very wrong.

    30% of 50% is about ~16%

And he said that was during a spike in his t.v. site, which is different from a movie site.

No the conversion rate STAYS around 30% almost always. No matter how much traffic I am getting.

And when I said 50% I meant that 50% of the total visitors to my site actually click on a link 30% of them convert.

But again this is with TV sites. I have never did a movie site, but I don't see why it would differ much.

Just bought this one a few days ago:

    Here: http://www.blackhatcodebreaker.com/

Only thing it doesn't do is geo targeting but that's easy to set up with a small script. In 5.0 he will put geo targeting in.

You would be surprised, but often top ranking sites in very competitive niches (like 'make money' etc) may also make less than $500 pm. Even with 10-20K traffic - direct from google on $3/click keywords.

Frankly, I don't know how the smaller sites with less traffic and less profitable niches even survive.
