Beating Amazon category pages was a piece of cake few years ago, but all the latest google algorithm changes favors BIG players, exactly like Amazon.
If you don't have a huge relevant expired domain at your disposal, ti will be just waste of time trying to rank even top 5 in that niche.... but Good luck.

Guessing from the numbers in your screenshot, the niche is dominated by authority sites with an odd page dedicated to the topic in question. Most of them (incl. the Amazon category page) should be beatable by a dedicated site.

If you have big ammount of money to invest then you can go but it would be hard, but with small amount ofmoney in my opinion that would be waste of time and money.

But if you have passion and think that you would beat them then go for it.

I don't see it to hard. If you have a domain with +30 DA that could be possible for 3 months done by yourself.

I can say it, because most of the sites don't have many backlinks to these posts.

You can beat but the question is, would it be worth all the time, money and effort?

When I see pages with PA higher than DA I tread lightly. PA can be manipulated, but most SEOs don't do that. Most of the time if the PA is higher than the DA then link building has taken place. And for the site in the in the 7th spot to be there he has definitely been building links.

When I do competition analysis, if I see high DA websites in the top 10 with low PA's it means it has been untouched link building wise. But when it comes to category pages from Amazon then it's a different story, kind of. They can be tough to beat, but with consistency in link velocity you can beat it out. Also, if it's just an Amazon product page, those are normally easy to beat.

Without seeing the backlinks I can't really tell 100%, but you should expect to be targeting that keyword for 3 months minimum. 3 months for typical SEO costs me around $1000. You can beat almost anyone out in SEO as long as you have the money.

Again, going only on the screenshot you attached, the niche is doable. Whether you should or shouldn't go for it, only you can decide.

SEO is a marathon, not a sprint. So, whether you spend money or not, this is going to take time and dedication. Do you have it? Do the expected returns warrant the expenditures? If you answered yes to both, go for it. If you hesitated, find something else.
