There's a aged expired domain i want to buy through godaddy auctions. But i ran the site through hxxp://ismysiteindexed(DOT)com and it's showing that its not indexed with any of the big 3 search engines. So is it pretty much just like a brand new domain by now?

Did you check archive.org to see if it was ever indexed?

    You'll probably find something there....

thanks just checked looks like it was once indexed this is what it said. " (site url) has been crawled 42 times going all the way back to Nov.2002" looks like the last time it was crawled was Jan of 2010

Just a question about these; sorry not meaning to hijack OPs thread.

I had a couple of sites up in the middle of 2010, the domains did NOT expire, however I stopped paying hosting meaning the sites were no longer alive. I have started these sites back up today, reuploaded content and am now ranking back where I was when I left them (between 2 and 6th); will my rankings drop?

Will my sites perform the same as if they were running all this time?

    Thanks
