You’re lying and telling the truth at the same time.
Building a Space Shuttle is easy too, getting it off the ground without blowing it up is the hard-part.

I can help you. maybe we cn help each other. I need more SEO clients. I can exchange knowledge for knowledge. I'm a Google certified partner and spend about $5k a month to make $25-$35k. Pm me. 5x-7x ROI MOM

For a jewelry company you're gonna want to split test shopping ads with search ads. And then use the display network and IG ads for retargetting. You could even retarget in FB, but the CPMs in IG (if properly setup) are stupid cheape. Like $2-$8 (for me right now). And they're usually much higher in FB.

That's my process and it works. Obviously theres more technicalities. But that's the nutshell version.

Ahaha well the following things are to be taken into consideration :

  • They are two guys selling watches/jewelry, and they do the AdWords campaigns by themselves so I doubt they are experts at it
  • I looked their business up and they banked 1.5M in 2016, so they are making a lot of money ; this kinda tells me they are already burning that money in a sense

That's why I'm tempted to tell him yes : maybe me beginning at SEA but being good at SEO will give me an advantage over them, and allow me to lose them less money than they are currently losing.

What do you think ?

I think that it would be also good idea to approach your client. He would anyway need to make SEO optimisation in order to attract more views, and so customers, to his website. Use that time to learn AdWords and how to use it properly. You can later offer this service to your other customers

You best bet really will be to hire someone who an in-depth knowledge about Google Ads. Why i said that is because Google ads is like a two edge sword; it can help or harm you. Better still, if you have the time you can go and learn about Google Ads. There are a lot of info products out there that can be of help.

Hi,

There's this client who asked us if we do AdWords campaigns. Thing is, all we ever did was SEO.
Now SEMrush tells me he spends more than 10k a month on his campaigns, so I don't want to miss such an opportunity.

What do you guys think ?
Why are you taking so stress? As in SEO, you say to client that in 3 months you won't see any taking improvement. Similarly, you can say here that campaign optimization will take one month and you can start with limited number of keywords and create few adsets for each keywords. Go with broad keyword as they are cheap and you need to have a list of negative keywords like free, download, learn etc based on niche. In that case you can gather enough data in one month and then you can continue from next month with phrase match keywords. Use the keyword planner and you can get the insight from Google itself. You can learn it from anywhere, but practicing yourself will teach you 100x better than reading any ebook. All you need to get is some time from your client for campaign and adsets optimization. Also, it's needless to say that you can see all keywords on daily basis that is getting clicks and you can optimize your keywords based on conversions. Hope it helped!
