In terms of staying ahead of detection isn't a vpn good in that you are never traced to one IP whereas with proxies you are always stuck to that ip and most providers only have a small range where clump are on the same range.

Anyone have experience using vpn for social media spamming?

I was reading on a tumblr thread that they ban by ip range and after a bit I realised my provider pushed me into taking all 20 proxies in the same range since they said their old ones got flagged and they never renewed them like they said they would. So since I got another 50 accounts banned i am wondering if that could have been the cause.

Id been considering a vpn for another project anyway so wondering if it would also work for social accounts too.

If not could you recomend a proxy provider who has a large range of ip.

i believe that is something specific to tumblr only. You should be fine on other social medias. May be wrong
