Hi guys, newbie here on affiliate programs. I don't have much experience in this field but understand the general idea/ basics. In terms of online experience, I sell on FBA and have a fair amount of experience having done that for almost 3 years. I have joined a few courses here and there and looking to do dropshipping and actually have a shopify website but haven't had much success as I think I selected a wrong niche lol.
So for me, I am just trying to diversify my business if you can call it that haha.
I joined and completed a course recently on Udemy that seems to suggest that a squeeze page is a must. I also read mancar's pdf which seems to suggest so. I am slightly confused because in my course, the guy basically says
1. Advertise on bing
2. Visitor visits your squeeze page and enters their email address
3. When you get their email, there is an automated welcome email that gives them the free info
4. If they got value from the email I sent them, they will go further and sign up on the vendor's website.
Alternatively, once they have put their email address onto our squeeze page, they get redirect straight to the vendor's website ?
My question is, is it absolutely necessary for us to have a landing page? Wouldn't it put potential customers off if they land on our squeeze page, enter their info only to be redirect further and for them to purchase the product, they will need to enter their details again ?
Would it be sensible/ possible for us to basically redirect them straight to our affiliate link from a bing advert ?
