I stumbled upon a KW with 5400 monthly searches, EMD Available - Its a product name. Amazon ranks at #1 for it. Its just *Product* and not *Product Reviews*
Example - Lets say, the niche is Toasters so my keyword is "Kitchenaid Pro Line" (Its a toaster brand)

Keyword revealer score is - 22.

Would it be worth it if i create a site around this keyword??

i don't see why you could not rank for this keyword, it's not high competition, but since you are registering fresh domain (i assume) don't expect to rank in a matter of weeks.

I know ranking for it wont be a big deal although, it will take sometime. But my question is will it be worth building an Amazon Affiliate site around it? If people will search for that product, wont they just go for the first site ie) AMAZON?

I was just a bit worried if i didnt get people on my site, let alone convert them.

You would still get visitors to your website, just make sure your title and meta description is catchy enough. This can greatly influence the click through rate.

Also, why are you assuming you won't be able to dethrone the amazon product page? Maybe your website will be the first result. Why not?

What is the longtail keyword landscape looking like? That'd be something I would have to consider.

Never been sure of how to search for Longtail keywords, although there are some other keywords, with like 11 KW revealer score and 1700 searches, directly linked to this product

Product names are risky... you could lose your sites value the moment they decide to bring out a new product or discontinue your product.

If you are doing a toaster website, skip the EMD. Do generic toasters all under 1 site and have a page dedicated to this keyword.

Yes. OP, Mr. Fishkin's advice makes a lot of sense.

It will allow you to target many more products in the same niche, and all the other keywords/products you go after will require a little less effort. This is because the effort you put into ranking your primary keyword page will also be mutually beneficial for any other product pages you build. Not a whole lot initially, but every productive hour saved is money in the bank essentially.

remember to check if the product name kw is trademarked or copyrighted, if it is then the second you rank the site (and sometimes sooner) you will lose it, due to infringment and then you also risk being banned from amazon

According to keyword reveler score, low score implies that it is a low competing keyword. Its good for your site, I think.
Use short form of keywords that gets increase your site rank, only if the short form keywords must be more popular that visited by the visitors.

Yes , it is worth to create a site with certain keywords.
When people look for that keyword, will definitely reach the traffic higher.
May be i think you can have more ads for your sites.
Make sure that your keyword reaches all the visitors either can be a long tail or short tail.
