Nah, there are A LOT already and cpc should be low. Not to mention low CTR in forums and lots of hard work to get anywhere.

    You know like Tim ferris?

Giving advice on new ideas how someone can improve their life........

    Plenty of ways to monetize.

    1. Adsense
    2. Email marketing (send them affiliate offers along with good content newsletters)
    3. Amazon affiliate offers on the site
    4. CJ affiliate offers on the site.
    5. #3 and #4 would go better with a blog section on the site, but forums can monetized this way too

You can really monetize nearly anything and nearly any niche if you are creative enough.

I don't think this is such a good idea. I suggest you go micro niche on this.
Maybe a forum about a certain famous book. Make your research, make sure its a new book though...
