is a 244% click through ratio a red flag?

i am running a email campagn for a prize offer. You know the kind fill out a survey and win a free laptop, donkey, roach, etc.

not making a killing on it as i just started it late today, but i expect atleast 100 a day if i run it all day. but my click throgh ratio is at 244%. maybe because i am telling everyone to do it twice? Not sure what S/U is but thats at 19%, and email marketing is allowed for this offer.

    what do you guys think?

If its on the up and up just tell your AM whats going on if they wind up asking you... and you should be good.

It's (most likely, I'll be willing to bet) because when you went to get your affiliate link, somewhere on a page you were viewing, your banners were there, so when you loaded up that page, that registered as a view for those banners, hence the really wacky CTR. Wait until tomorrow when the traffic stats reset and you'll see that things go back to normal.

You should be fine. To be safe, call your AM (affiliate manager) or email and let them know you will be using mass email marketing

I usually get a CTR like that when I use an affiliate link from a banner because the affiliate company didn't provide any other cretives. My AMs understand.
