A guy use to be my mentor for cpa-lead stuff. I asked him a few questions every day and if such things was a good idea or not, but after I told him I was 15, he was like "what?!" and then said he cannot help me anymore. Why? Am I too young to understand concepts? I get 80s and 90s in school. I been learning about computer programing since the age of 10. My social life is fine. I obviously wasn't acting too immature because he was amazed I was so young. I really don't know why he did this. :(

Well, you are underage, and when the secret conspiracy of successful IM-ers get together to party and drink whisky and smoke cigars in leather sofas surrounded by topless women, I think, I THINK... your age could be a problem.

Other than that you should be
    fine.

LOL That sucks...not laughing at you but at how some one can miss WHY you might actually be better to teach. At 15 you havent quite matured enough to ruin your mind and stop yourself from thinking creatively and outside the box. So consequently you arent worried about asking the wrong questions and looking bad in front of others for asking it. So by asking questions and replying he may have seen some real potential in you... and when he heard your age, it was too much reality for his mind to accept.

You just keep going and learning. Theres another mentor out there.

Nope. Back in the day, I had a couple mailers doing mortgage leads for me that were 15. I paid one of them over 10k a week when he actually tried. He was very very good.

As a grown 25 year old man I know I would not spend time with a fifteen old for several reasons:

    1. There is just too many ways how a unauthorized grown adult can get in trouble with the law by spending time with a minor.
    2. Underage children 99% of the time is immature.
    3. Underage children should worry about school and homework.
    4. As a grown man I sure as hell do not want to spend time with a bunch of children. I want to be around someone my level.

The world moves pretty fast these days and devoting your life to IM at 15 is going to come back to haunt you. This whole internet money making game could be shut down in 1 day if the big boys wanted to.

I suggest just dabble or do it part time, but get your self some sort of real world skill to fall back on. Most of all have fun, cause this is the best time of your life and you shouldn't be worried about money.

I think it's great that a 15-year-old is serious about making a living online. And they should be commended and encouraged. Hats off to you my young friend. Keep up the good work! :)

Trust me it's fine I just turned 18 and have been a Internet marketer since 16 and most things go alright. I actually had a mentor of the sort who stopped helping after hearing my age a couple years ago and then I joined here. It's good starting early get a head start on everyone :)

Older folks are going to be a bit resentful of you, because back in their day to make money at your age, it took a lot more hustle and more work.

Most of these people, myself included, did shit jobs like bagging groceries or mowing lawns or pumping gas and getting brow beat by a shitty boss. There was simply no way to earn anything sitting behind a computer. Hell we were amazed when our school apple PC played missile defense. I remember sitting in front of it at lunch hours.

wow 15 years old and already interested in internet marketing, that is awesome... i wish i would have applied my self in something creative when i was your age.

I spent my time trying to get girls to take their shirts off.

Keep up the learning man you several years above the mass of your peers,

no age is too young to get started. your former mentor probably just doesn't like dealing with 15-year-olds, not because of your potential to understand the concepts, but just because general lack of maturity tends to be annoying to a lot of people (as evidenced by your rep). there's not much you can do about it except keep working on IM by yourself, and eventually you'll get more mature to the point where people wouldn't mind teaching you.

Age means nothing, maturity is what will get you places. IM is probably the only place you have the potential to make more than your parents at your age lol

Keep at it, dont do stupid things and dont burn bridges along the way. You should be fine!

    Cheers

Fuck no, I'm 16 (have been doing internet marketing since I was 15) and I'm making up to 1k a day.

Don't let the ageism get to you.

    1. Screw the law, be a man.
    2. I am not joking. I am a serious guy.
    3. I already got 90s man, don't worry about it. I did some math contest last month, got 1st in the school (300 grade 9s), don't worry about my marks, they are fine.
    4. What can an adult do in IM that I couldn't because of my age?

I started internet marketing when I was 15. Last summer, I was 16 and 17 and made over 3K, and the checks are still coming in from the work I did. This summer I will be 17 and 18. My goal is to make 10K and I have already made 1K. Kid, don't let them tell you you can't, cuz you can. Try searching Azam Meo on google and signing up for his list. Although he's not exclusively into internet marketing (he's more into real estate), he has examples on his site of 15, 16 and 17 year olds making 20K a month and other ridiculous numbers. The thing is, these aren't ridiculous numbers when you dream big.

For example, I recently met with a guy who was willing to put a sign in his store in Madison Avenue New York advertising my stuff for $200 a month!! For anyone who knows anything about NY, this is an unbelievably good price! Real estate there goes for $500 a square foot! This single sign alone could make me 10K a month!

The only person who needs to believe in you is you. Don't let these d-bags tell you what your worth. You can do it kid! I believe in you.

Exactly. I don't spend all my time on it. I have other hobbies and other things that I can fall back on.
