Iphone app Marketing

Getting a few app's designed for my dating site. Anyone have any tips for marketing iphone applicatations to make it stand out. Its a free app that collects there email so i can hammer them with offers.... Anywone care to share techniques that works for them in getting the most dowloads. Do you build a ton of reviews... In imput would be apprecated....

wasnt it like you need to pay 100 bucks for your developer account?

as well as they mostly won't approve your app and even if, it'll take months for this?

iPhone apps are all about eye candy, make it look nice, but not too flashy and im sure people we'll download it. Even more because it's free.

i can't tell you how many i have downloaded, used for 5 mins, then never touched again.

on the other hand, i think a good trick is to price it HIGH. then do a promotional $1 download or something. everyone watches for these and it will be an easy sell whey they're saving $14 or something!

Its pretty simple. You download and depending on your gps location you get a telephone number that connects you live for free chat with girls and other guys.. IT will be eye candy. And yes its free. Its like ewhoring on a application. I am paying somone to do it so its not built buy myself but by someone that has tons of experience getting stuff approved. They do apps and approvals for a living so there will be somethings that stand out in the app for apple to give the go aheads.


Is there any other locations i can stick this app at to get the most downloads?

You can use adwhirl or other to get money from ads.
