Just about a few hours ago or less, I opened a thread asking if anyone would exchange my paypal for LR....iPed contacted me immediately by pm and suggested we chat on yahoo IM. He took my paypal funds, and never send my LR, he had all kind of excuses ranging from he forgot his paypal password, to they froze his account. What is also unusual is my original post has disappeared, and I did not remove it. I don't know what kind of hacker this guy is but he is a definite low life. I should have been alerted to the fact that he just joined this month, but strangely enough he has many thankyous etc, maybe thats another hack, I dont know. I was actually warned by someone else on the site about a possible scammer who may have simply changed his id, unfortunately I don't know who they are as my post is gone, but thanks for the warning, I should have listened.
Here is all the info I have on this piece of trash:

Wow... not only are you doing transactions via PM, but also with some nobody that joined the forum a few days ago

There will always be scammers out there as long as there are people stupid enough to get scammed

Currency exchange requests aren't allowed here in the first place. I'm sorry you got scammed, but the rules here are in place to protect you from exactly this type of thing.

3.3 activity that involves, Currency Trades or Exchanges (Example: Exchanging PayPal for eGold money), Buying/Selling CPA accounts, Buying/Selling Social Security Numbers or Identities, CPA offer filling circles, Paying to have CPA offers filled, Requesting fake review comments for other forums' BST sections, Digg / Stumble (or similar) requests & trades, Asking how to make $xxx/day, Any "fake" account for the purposes of defrauding a network or individual, Promoting other forums by any means including in your signature, Creating more than one account on BHW;

I fully understand now why those rules are in place, and is why I like this site. I was actually unaware of the rule against exchanging though, I apologize, luckily it wasn't a whole lot of money, thanks.

Dear Mods, the next time anyone breaks BHW rules, esp regarding money transactions, and then comes here with complaints, then please ban that complaining person first! The shitlist will be a much better place, IMHO.:D

There is a sticky thread regarding this, but thread openers doesn't have time to read.

Hehe! That's why I said, ban these rules-breakers first (a 7-day ban would be fine!) and let them ask questions later. Once such people begin getting banned then they and others too will start reading the rules first.:D Also try stopping them from seeing the Download section for at least a month... that would definitely do the job most effectively! ;)
