3 months after launching one of my sites on iPage, I can honestly say that its the worst hosting for SEO.
Usually after 3 months my websites hit the 1-5 spots on Google search. There is only 1 website that keeps going down the search results, and its hosted on iPage.
The reason? Their servers are overloaded and about half of the day the website is not accessible. Bounce rate goes up, Google spider cant access shit, the outcome is obvious.
Their support will give you the same reason over and over - its a problem with your ISP. Even when you prove its not an ISP problem, they will find an excuse to wave you off.
With that said. Kudos to iPage for the ski seasons they provide to the hosted sites, I'm off.
