I want to know that is IP DIVERSITY really matters in SEO and backlinking. Thanks in advance
are you talking about seperate IPS for domains? If so i am actually looking into it now and my research is about 50% aparrently in the Big G forums they say its a YES but then in general articles etc they say not as much any more. some ppl stating they have 450 sites on 1 IP without problems indexing and ranking.. so I think its a personal choice..
Yeah it matters.
You should try to get backlinks from as many different IPs (domain) as possible.
but I saw a site in dentist keyword and he have thousands of link coming from same meetup site
honestly I think it doesn't matter. I've seen new sites with only links from the same ip (same ip as where the site is hosted) that ranked very well for competitive keywords.
Quantity matters, but Quality is the most important (in terms of PR). IP diversity is more of something that could be considered but I doubt it's weighted heavily.
you are with me as i already stats is NOT matter b/c I am employed by SEO person and he use to give me blog and tell me just to blast link in all post of given blog maybe it is more clarify by moderators and SEO person here
I am not the most experienced person in SEO so I tend to test things out. From little tests I have run IP diversity is crucial to SEO
It's easy every link counts. But links from different IPs are more valuable. You can gather an similar impact (as links from different IPs) by a big quantity, but that looks spammy if done to heavy.
