Inviting a contact list..

Hello everyone. I'm trying to make a contact list in excel to upload to facebook and add the people as friends.

But the list of emails i have at the minute at like: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], ETC.

When i paste all the emails (around 4,000) into one cell on excel, it pastes them all into the same cell. I want to know how i can make them past into a new cell, on the next line (i.e B2, B3, B4, B5) So every time there is a comma, it starts a new line :)

If you get what i mean, and you can help, please post :)

hey,

i would do this with notepad++. just search for "," and replace with "/n".
dont forget to check enhanced setting there and you have every email in a new line
 
Ah thanks. I knew about the /n just didn't know i had to use Notepad++, well i've never heard of it before :P
 
it's like ultimate version of windows notepad. i use it a lot it has many good text editing features like delete blank lines.
 
I've tried to upload the contact list, but it says "Everyone on this contact list is already on Facebook or has already been invited.
Would you like to try another email account or file?"
 
You probably got the error cause your contact file wasn't created properly. Make sure you saved it as a csv, and then try again.
