with new technologies evolving in farming

have you invested in farming or planning to invest farming..

you buy land and employee someone to look after the land.

any way land price will keep increasing and by doing farming you will get your profit every month.

in three tier countries it costs less than 2000$/ acre or land..

what is your opinion on this.

Food security (or insecurity) is a real problem and it will only get worse because of the plandemic - check out iceagefarmer.com. Everyone needs to grow their own real food (not frankenfoods). Permaculture is best for our planet and you can learn more at permies.com.

Farming seems like such a pain in the neck. Is it really necessary because of COVID? I have heard reassurances over and over from US govt that food supply is fine. What's your estimate of when Average Joe is going to be affected by food shortages and need to grow his own food.

Well, it is a logical business to be in.

But im no farmer. If i can automate most of the work and have guaranteed yields that can be sold for a tight profit, im game.

But im not gonna break my back, period. And im definitely not gonna engage in farming for low returns.

I am currently into farming.
This is not a easy task though. Now a days, they are paying super low amount to the farmers. But in the market the prices are still the same (High)

I started with Chilli farming, did a lot of hard work, hired workers. This was a total loss project as the chillies that were coming were 90% bad (even though the plants were healthy) so it's very risky.

Now I have started Banana farming where most of the things are Automated as they grow by themselves without much effort and continue to keep growing forever.

neither should everyone sit in a chair at the computer. yes, it's not easy, but you shouldn't forget about agriculture

Farmers always say " they depend the Nature give them money " which is kinda true., no doubt now grow veggies can use technology , indoor farming with lights etc.
Have to depend what foods you going to farm.

Some still can't use " technology to breed etc "

My opinion on thinking farming is easy money is summed up in a David Mitchell* video:
