    Good afternoon ladies & gentleman!

It has been quite the time since I posted on BHW. Hope everyone is doing well.

I actually have quite a simple question that I would love some intricate advice on due to my ignorance surrounding the entire subject.

I'm looking to invest around 5 - 15,000$ in a website on Flippa that is already earning a decent amount of cash. Time is of the essence for me these days and in the distant future I will have a very limited amount of time to put towards internet-based projects and so this prospect seems attractive to me. It saves the groundwork despite me being a web-designer myself.

What do you think? Is it worth it? What are your personal experiences and your advice? How should I recognize a good website from a bad one? How do I know if I'm paying a fair amount? How does the adsense transfer work?

Just a lot of questions in my mind as of now.

    Thanks for your time.

proper due diligence. get the seller on the line and get them to go through everything. leave no stone unturned. make sure you analyze the SEO in great detail too to ensure its stable ranking

Be very careful. I might have been unlucky, but pretty much every flippa deal I've looked through seemed fishy.

There's certainly a lot of scamming going on, and people have been getting really good at faking data.

    warm regards,

Just buy aged sites, and inspect the link profile closely to see there's not a lot of spammy backlinks. I've recently pulled off a great deal off Flippa, so not all sites being sold there are crap. I just avoid brand new sites, and from seller with 'Super Seller' status there, because they overprice their sites.

Due Diligence - it's very important.

Flippa is full of scammers, I would stay away from that site. For selling it's pretty good.

Try FEInternational.com or EmpireFlippers.com - my favorite one is FEInternational.com (where meathead1234 works) - Try PMing him on BHW and ask his advice -> The best way to do it.

Use extreme caution in this. I know that there are some deals in which are quite odd and fishy. Look to protect yourself first and foremost.

You may get lucky but don't rush it. I signed up the other day just to leave comments on all the scam listings. Just aply the rule if it seems too good to be true...

Verify everything as a lot sell sites that are just some copycat scheme. Good luck

Don't believe in any word written. Just take the domain and investigate all its backlinks in Ahrefs and/or Majestic. Investigate all its history in archive.org. Scrape the whole site content and bulk check it in Copyscape. That's all you need to know to make your decision.

    Good luck!
