I have interspire email marketer that i've split into 2 servers (app and db) these server are in europe . i have an smtp server (postfix with dkimproxy) that is in the US.
these 3 servers are powerful and i don't see any overloading. when i put the app into test mode it show a send in a rate of 300/second but when i acctually make a send it's more like 1/second.
I thought that there might be a bottleneck in the smtp server but there isn't, the queue doesn't hold any emails.
I know that interspire use fsocketopen to connect the the smtp server so there might be some latency issue because of it.
does anybody have any ideas how can i speed up my send rate ?
