I'm getting the pop up blocker yellow bar going on when I get users to click on this link:

    Code:
    <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.mydomain.com" onclick="showoffer('10 OFF')"><strong>Click Here to Show Coupon</strong></a>
Basically I want users to click the link, when they click the javascript function pops up a small box in the middle of the page showing a coupon code, while the browser opens a new window/tab and loads the next link. This is working fine in Firefox, but in IE the small box will pop up with the coupon code, and then I will see the yellow pop up blocker being activated to block the loading of mydomain.com.

Any way around this to make this functionality work in IE with default security settings?

    Any help is appreciated!

I would want to see if there is a way to get links without pop up too?
