Hello,

Some of my sites are outside the US-English domain. I intend the following:

- Create a linkwheel out of "local" properties
- Give the linkwheel juice from US-english ******** blogs

Does this work or does the 'nationality' of a pr point carry over one site?

most of the time '' international '' means geotargeting , well ... most of those markets have very very weack weight on serps so it's quite easy to rank for them , of course have low traffic and low conversion .. but ... :) it's quite easy you know ... even if you don't have on your native language web2.0 proprieties you can create them :) ...

btw ... pr is carry out by any ******** link , no mater from where it's come , can put a link on the moon if it's ******** will carry the pr with it .

If the local domain is a .com/net/org , you should set the Geo-targeting information in google webmaster tools.

I'm also interested to know if your method will work , if so please share your results :-)

keinhabe, do you really think local domains have low conversion, I you use local CPA it should be bout the same, right ?

I know PR carries over regardless of geolocation, but what I'm interested in, is to see whether building links from US pages to European web 2.0 properties will make the local links on these web 2.0 properties stronger in their OWN location :) In other words; whether its possible, to convert 'US linkjuice' to 'local linkjuice' (the location of an inbound link matters a lot!).

old post, but I am interested in this "convert 'US linkjuice' to 'local linkjuice'" stuff too.
any help ?

I reckon you can just filter it through a local property.

Aka host 5 sites on servers in your local country, send all your US link juice to them, then link to your money page from them.

Google should see all the link juice going into your money page coming from your local properties.
