    Hi,

so I have this problem, lets just make an example, those are not my real keywords and I just made up the numbers:
-I want to optimize my homepage with internal links from posts/pages for the keyword "SEO" which is an acronym for the full phrase "Search engine optimization". Lets just say, that SEO has 10x the search volume as the full phrase.

If i am doing internal link building should I link with the full phrase or the acronym? Or can I link with both of them at once from one post/page to my homepage? Does it even matter? If Google knows what the acronym stands for?

For example I studied this keyword (SEO) on Wikipedia. They link it only with the full phrase, never with the acronym, and they are still first even for the acronym.

Whats the best way to do it?

    Location:
    alert("Make Money")
    Home Page:
I would use both, but I link from higher pages to lower pages rather than back to the homepage. Also, link phrases to related articles on similar subjects. There are plugins that work with internal links, like YARPP, but I haven't used it.

Use the keywords as anchor text which you want to rank for. If you want to rank for "SEO Austria" you should use that as anchor. For internal links you can use overoptimized anchors and the same over and over. You wont get penalized.

So the question should be: What keyword do I want this page to rank for? Then use that as anchor
