I finished watching this documentary about prescription drug abuse in USA and how big pharma companies are paying huge sums of money to get their product launched that are actually dangerous to people and cause hundreds of thousands of deaths each year in US. It was quite an interesting film to watch and gives you a better insight on how corrupted the pharma business really is.

Just think about this.

They spend millions of dollars advertising these drugs on TV and 90% of the commercial is telling you the side effects.

They do that to avoid a lawsuit. The same thing on the cigarette box.

The documentary describes the situation very well. It says that when the soothin low man voice is telling the side effects the video shows happy people walking/having fun/other positive shit and behind is a nice, calming or upbeat music. People just switch off their brains and trust the visuals. Also, the shit thing is that the drugs are sold for stuff they were not tested by FDA. Stuff that is meant to be sold for schizophrenics are marketed as a cure/relief for other problems. Some medications are sold as 99% like that. Then the company pays the fine of 1 billion but still makes 3 billion as profits.
